First off, to everyone who’s enjoyed EI up to this point- Alexis and I need to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. All of you have made us very happy with your comments, interest, and interpretations thus far!! To anyone who’s been eagerly waiting for us to continue EI- we come today bringing good news!

There’s no words to describe the pride and joy we feel to announce that we’ve finished Chapter 3 and have made rewrites to the Prologue, Chapter 1, and Chapter 2, so we highly recommend re-reading the story from the beginning before jumping into Chapter 3! It makes the experience so much better, cohesive, and sweeter with better characterizations we gave to those who didn’t get as much early on.

AlmanicStudios.com will be discarded and will go offline someday, we just don’t know when. We want to keep it up a bit longer in case anyone who doesn’t see this post happens to check the site for an update, and can see the news! We’ve re-branded and formed a new identity to tie our stories together. That’s right- even our stories are in a story! WWWAOOOOAAH! and we also found a new hosting site that just suits our needs better.

Regarding Webtoon and Tapas, it’s going to take us time to reformat the previous chapters and chapter 3 to be suited for Webtoon, so we recommend going to our new site to read everything there if you don’t want to wait.

Ultimately, I recommend going to our site because we formatted each chapter TO scroll, so the pages will be very comfortable to read on a computer, tablet, or phone, while still keeping their original comic page format- which is the intended way to read the story.

At this time, I’m making extra assets for the book- YES BOOK- because we’re looking into self-publishing options for physical copies, and digital as well.

The rest of the story will be continued in book form, so we’re releasing the first volume for free to read- that way people can get familiar with the characters!

The time it’s taken us to get here was all the time we needed to further develop the rest of the story, themes, and characters with such painstaking loving detail, and we’re just FROTHING at the mouth to get it OUT! So, we hope you’ll stick with us as we sail on to making Volume 2- which will contain the next 4 chapters of EI: Emotional Intelligence.

Hey all, it’s been… a LONG time frankly, since updating the site. So much has happened throughout 2025, we’re all aware. In our case, thankfully it’s all been good news! The comic is still ongoing, it’s just taken us much longer to complete since I have to be careful with my wrist to not overdo it again, 😅 but the story has since gotten MUCH better because we weren’t rushing it.

There’s a lot of connections we made for future seasons regarding characters we haven’t met yet, and we’ve even changed the way some events would unfold because of the delays. Out of 36 pages, I’ve got 15 left to “color correct”, which is basically all the shading, effects, and tweaks of colors and value post flat coloring. We did hire a lineartist to help me and MY LORD, he is a Godsend.

To keep up with us in real time, I highly recommend joining our discord server. Alexis and I are on it, as well as our sweet community, and we stream regularly on Twitch. We’re also publishing animatics on our new Youtube channel so you can keep up with story related videos and/or silly videos we’d like to make on the side. We’ve upgraded to a creator mindset and that’s inspired us to start making YouTube videos and animatics while the comic is being worked on. And it’s not that we’re distracting ourselves, it’s that every skill we learn is then being reflected to the quality we’re putting out. It all has a purpose, and the work will speak for itself.

We’re also going to be creating a new site to house our comics. Basically, I want more control and more customizability, and this WordPress site just ain’t it. We want to make things fun and expressive, and I find presentation to be very important- which is why I’d totally break my wrist just to make everything look the way I want it to. I want more interactivity and I want more *wow* and more *dazzle* to every page.

It’ll also come under a rebranding, which is what the Discord server, Twitch, and YouTube accounts all reflect. We know which platform we’ll be using, but I don’t have the timeframe as to when this will be done, but this site will be staying for at least another year, That’s for sure! When the day comes, know that I WILL make a post here to direct you all to the new site!
