I’m an artist, writer, animator, and much more!
I was born to create, and I’m following that instinct. Every panel I make was made because the story asked for it to be formed that way, and I listened. Everything follows an internal hum, and I seek to match its frequency.
Ultimately, my hope is for someone out there to find connection through our stories, and to feel that they’re a part of something large, even if their world seems small. With small steps towards improvement, great achievements can be reached. That’s what this entire series–and all of our stories–teach me as we write them.
Stay tuned, we’ve got a lot of great stuff in the works! It’s taken us longer than we’d like to get back to publishing, but time is also the perfect teacher.
We’ll show you how much we’ve learned.

I’m Alexis and I spend most days in front of a computer.
I also listen to music, write, and think of ideas all the time. Like a popcorn kernel, ideas just pop into my head. Doesn’t matter where I am; I could be eating, reading, or showering—the best ideas come from the shower—and they’re all great! I can see scenes play out like a movie in my head so it makes me all the more hyped to write it!
Ever since I was little, I’ve loved stories and cartoons. This love grew into a passion, one that led me to go to school to study animation. I watch a lot of movies and TV, so with an expansive library in mind, I can make stories feel fleshed out and exciting to read.
My goal is to make stories for everyone, so that way there’s at least one that’s bound to hook them like how it hooked me. It’s a huge task I’ve got planned out, but it’s one that I’m ready to face head-on.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I gotta get a thinking snack.

We're a group of two college grads using our experience to tell a story dear to our heart. EI: Emotional Intelligence is a story about an AI child re-learning how to trust. There's a rich, diverse cast of characters with heavy themes of mental health and empathy. We want to write about characters who are grey and flawed, but they're still human trying to find their place in life, like you and I.
