Nicole was born into a wealthy life with only her father, Theodor Hoffmann, as a parental figure and role model. Being raised with robots like VI, a virtual intelligence Theo built to nanny Nicole while he was at work, she grew to the idea that robots could be more than their programming. She would try teaching VI different customs and phrases, but unless they were programmed into him, they wouldn’t stick. This belief matured into a goal to give robots the life she imagined they could have.
Nicole graduated from university with a PhD in robotics and proceeded to work at the WOW Robotics Factory until her father passed away. She inherited it and built the WOW Robotics Research Lab out of the factory, where she works with a group of equally talented and motivated people. Not only does she want to make a breakthrough in robotics for technological advancements, she also wants to see them integrate into society and live with humans as family. Her efforts lead her into creating Aiecd, the world’s first artificial person to “grow up.”
Fun Fact: Her mother doesn’t have blue eyes.
